Dismantle Collective is a Black-led, multigenerational, Queer and People of Color–centered social enterprise creating our collective path to liberation.
In January 2025, we purchased land in West Oakland at 2701 Market Street.
Along with our local partner, Oaxxanda, we are building our first permanent live-and-work space. A place for healing, creativity, collaboration, and community power. A place where we can gather, rest, and organize for the long term.

Why Your Gift Matters Right Now
Purchasing land was a major milestone. It also revealed real and immediate needs.
As we entered pre-development, we encountered unexpected environmental requirements, vacant property taxes, and early development costs that were not fully covered by our initial funding.
We are raising $15,000 to:
Cover urgent property-related expenses
Maintain forward motion on development
Protect the capacity of our small, dedicated team
Keep our land in community hands as we secure longer-term funding

What We’re Building
Dismantle Collective develops land, people, and spaces.
Since 2018, we have:
Created spaces for BIPOC healing, learning, and collaboration
Hosted our Dismantling UNconference, serving over 100 BIPOC knowledge-makers and entrepreneurs
Launched DC Clubhouse, a year-round virtual space for care and connection for movement workers
Advanced a long-term vision for community-owned land and intergenerational wealth
